The Rams varsity basketball team traveled to Forest Hills Northern for the season opener and dominated from start to finish. The Rams used their size and speed to take a 22-10 lead after the first quarter of play. The boys did not slow down in the second quarter by out scoring the Huskies 21-8 in the second quarter to take a 43-18 lead into halftime. The Rams continued to dominate the second half out scoring the Huskies 26-16. The final score ended up being 69-34 in favor of the Rams. The Rams were led by senior big man Jake Bascom who finished with a game high 27 points. Eli Wolfe contributed 10 points, Dylan Gross had 8, Josh Bascom finished with 7, Chase Pitsch and Carter Drolema chipped in 6 points a piece. The Rams are back in action Tuesday December 9th at home versus the Fighting Scots of Caledonia. Go Rams!!
