Rockford ladies bowling kicked off the season with a win over Forest Hills Central, 28-2. With a solid performance in the two baker games, 202 & 162, the ladies took a 10-0 lead into the team game portion of the event. Sophomore Kristen Chapman led the way with a nice 202 game in game one while her sister Kyla Chapman (Jr) chipped in a 183 in game two to lead the team to an 18-2 team game advantage. As a whole everyone contributed to the victory, mind you we still have a lot to work on before we get to our first tournament this Saturday at Park Center Lanes, but it was good to get back into the competitive schedule and see where the team stood.
