ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

Catholic Central case out strong in the first quarter scoring five goals to take a 5-3 lead at the end of the 1st. The Rams stayed close in the first half and went into halftime only down two goals 7-5. The 3rd quarter was the Rams best quarter and really looked as though the Rams were going to gain some momentum. At the end of the 3rd quarter the game was all tied up at 10-10. Unfortunately, the Rams could not find the back of the net in the fourth quarter and ended up falling 14-11. Ava Wekenman led the Rams with 3 goals and 3 assists. Brooke Gordon, Jordyn Coretti and Ella Larva each had 2 goals and an assist. To finish out the scoring, Kiah Kruisenga and Avery Maag each added a goal.
