ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The Rams came up short to a good Forest Hills Central team on Monday night. The Rams held a lead at the end of one quarter 3-2 but couldn't score in the 2nd, trailing 4-3 at halftime. The Rams kept it close but struggled to put the ball in the goal and fell 7-5. Ava Wekenman led all scorers with 2 goals and an assist. Kiah Kruisenga, Ella Larva and Ella Wagenmaker each added a goal to round out the scoring. Goalie Mia Mabry had another strong game and made 9 saves on the night. The Rams return to action Wednesday night when the recognize their seniors on the TED. Game time is at 7:00 PM.
