ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The team took to Thornapple GC on Thursday for the OK Red Mid-Season 18 hole event. Conditions were sunny, breezy, but favorable considering other rounds we've had this spring. Right out of the gate the Rams took an early lead and held it for the duration of the event, eventually besting second place Hudsonville by 26 strokes. A truly remarkable break through performance by Chase Laverell led the way for the Rams, shooting a two under 70! Chase was also medalist at the event. Jack Reum continued his hot streak with a 77 and Austin Helsel had his best round of the year with a 78. Owen Wilson showed his resolve after a tough front nine to finish at 80. Our team is really getting dialed in as we enter the second half of the season!
