The Rams continued to play as they have all postseason, winning as a team. It's been a true team effort with great defense, great goaltending and great offense that has been leading the Rams to victory. It was a slow go to start the game with Hartland holding a slight lead at halftime 3-2. Hartland's goalie was playing outstanding and the Ram shooters were having a tough time finding the net despite some really great scoring opportunities. The 2nd half the Rams settled down and got back to what they do best. Ella Larva would kick start the offense with a fast break goal and firing up the team and the stands. It wasn't too much longer when Avery Maag fired a missile into the goal which seemed to electrify the team and the fan base putting the Rams up 4 -3. The Rams wouldn't look back from that point on and rattled off 5 more goals and secured a trip to the state championship. As has been the case everyone continues to contribute with 6 goal scorers in this game. Kiah Kruisenga, Ella Larva and Avery Maag each had 2 goals. Brooke Gordon, Ava Wekenman, and Jordyn Coretti added a goal apiece. The Rams will play Friday afternoon against South Lyon at Parker Middle School in Howell. Game time is at 4:00 PM. Send off for the team Friday will be at 12:30 PM in front of the Football Stadium entrance. It's an orange out so come out and cheer on the girls as they look to bring back another state championship to Rockford!!
