The Rams raced to a 1st place finish at the Portage Early Bird Friday morning. The 21 team field featured the Division 2 Pre-Season poll #1 in the State Holland Christian and Division 1 Pre-Season poll #10 in the State Portage Central. The Rams begin the season ranked at #6. Leading the Rams with a 3rd place finish was Senior Daisy Cox. Juniors Jillian Lewakowski and Keagan Mulka were the next two Rams at 5th and 11th place. Seniors Rae and Reese Defrang finished the scoring for the Rams with finishes of 15th and 22nd. Junior Claire Watson and Senior Sarah Macintosh finished the varsity effort with finishes of 30th and 58th place. Keagan Mulka's time of 19:35.78 was a personal record.
