RECAP: The Rockford Rams Girls Swimming & Diving program kicked off their 2026 campaign with a win at Grand Rapids Christian 128-58. New Head Coach Andy Bouwens started off his tenure as a Ram with a win against the Eagles that saw 18 swimmers earn Varsity letters, two swimmers achieve four MISCA Meet cut times, and three relays qualify for the MHSAA State Championship Meet. Full accolades are listed below. NEXT ACTION: The Rams return to the water on Saturday, August 29th, when they will travel to the Williamston Invite at Williamston High School. The meet begins at 12:00 PM. RANKINGS: The first polls for the 2026 swimming & diving season were released on August 15th, where the Rams ranked 7th overall at the Division 1 level. The Rams finished the 2025 season ranked 6th overall. MISCA Meet: Paelyn Wright (50 Freestyle, 100 Butterfly, 100 Freestyle) and Lucy Davey (500 Freestyle) State Championship: 200 Medley Relay (Wright, Johnson, Theaker, Arnett), 200 Freestyle Relay (Wright, Davey, Schuler, Daley), and 400 Freestyle Relay (Wright, Schuler, Davey, Arnett).
