ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The Rams had a breakthrough game versus Hudsonville, a team they only beat 1-0 just two weeks ago. The Rams came out strong right from the start opening up a 3-0 lead on the Eagles. Isabelle Schubert had a big night and got things started with her first goal of the night just 3 minutes into the game. Addison Raguckas would add a nice goal off a great pass from Luna Mitchell off a penalty corner. Schubert would add another goal just before the end of the 1st quarter. Avery Maag would assist on both Schubert goals. The Rams would score in every quarter, and they would not take their foot off the gas. The Rams would take a 5-0 lead into halftime after another goal from Schubert and Mallory Munger would redirect a nice crossing pass from Jessie Coyle to make it 5-0 Rams. Shubert would get the running clock going by putting her 4th goal of the night in halfway through the 3rd Quarter, assisted by MacKenzie Madura, extending the lead to 6-0 Rams. Avery Maag who had two assists earlier would find a goal herself when she would put away a shot assisted by Alex Roller to make it 7-0 Rams. The Rams would make it a short night in the fourth quarter when Carolina Hernandez scored her first goal of the night, ending the game by the score of 8-0. Addison Raguckas picked up the assist on the Hernandez goal. Not everyone scored in this game, but everyone contributed and had an impact on the outcome. This was a great team win. The Rams will be traveling to Grosse Pointe South this weekend where they will face a very tough Grosse Pointe South team and then follow up with a game against Grosse pointe North.
