ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

The Varsity Rams continue to improve each game and tonight was no different. It was the second game in a row in which they did not allow a shot on goal. Tonight's game was a true team effort with some very nice passing and transitions throughout this game. Despite controlling the possession clock the Rams were only able to come up with one goal in the first three quarters of play. Isabelle Schubert would score the first goal on an assist from Charlotte Walker. The Rams broke things open in the fourth quarter, scoring 3 goals to increase their lead to 4-0 and the eventual final. Schubert would score her second goal of the game unassisted, then Jessie Coyle would add another, assisted by Carolina Hernandez, to increase the lead to 3-0 and then Gabi Hernandez finished things off with a goal to make it 4-0 Rams. The Rams return to action next Thursday when they host East Grand Rapids in a big conference match up. It is also Teacher Appreciation night, so we look forward to a great night of field hockey as we honor our teachers here at Rockford.
