ROCKFORD ATHLETICS I HOME OF THE RAMS

On a night with a much bigger cause than playing field hockey, raising money for the Anni Army Foundation, the girls would help the Ram fans with their excitement by posting a 3-0 victory. The Rockford Field Hockey teams were honored to have an opportunity to help promote and raise awareness to medulloblastoma tumors and other pediatric cancers through Anni's Army Foundation. This was the Varsity Teams 5th win in the last 7 games and trending in the right direction. There have been some great strides but still a lot of work to do in these last two regular season games before the post season. Isabelle Schubert put the Rams ahead 2-0, scoring the first two goals of the game. Leading 2-0 heading into the 4th quarter, Charlotte Walker put the game out of reach when she gathered up rebound off the goalie's pads and redirected it into the back of the net. Goalie Jordin Woods picked up her 7th shutout of the year. The Varsity girls are back at Home on the Harv Wednesday @ 6:00 pm when they host Forest Hills United for Youth Night.
