Girls Swim & Dive Knock Off West Ottawa 190-98

The Rockford Girls Swim & Dive program knocked off another OK-RED Conference foe on Thursday night, defeating the West Ottawa Panthers 190-98. The Rams left the pool with 28 top-three finishes, five season bests, 23 personal bests, and seven MHSAA D1 State Championship Meet qualifications. Grand Haven, having beaten Hudsonville on Thursday night, split the tie with Hudsonville for 2nd place, followed by Hudsonville at 3rd, and the winner of the Grandville-East Kentwood competition taking control of 5th place (score unknown at the time of writing). The Rams return to the water immediately with the MISCA Invitational Meet this Friday and Saturday. Diving takes place Friday, with divers hitting the boards at 5:30 PM.
