The boys of Rockford saved their best conference race for last when they raced to a Runner-Up finish at the Championship Race at Riverside Park on Thursday night. The Rams, who had finishes of 3rd and 4th in early season Jamborees, had a great team performance that claimed second place falling only to East Kentwood who won the championship. Josiah Derksen and Hayden Lafferty led the Rams effort with both of them racing to All-Conference honors. Derksen raced to 7th place while Lafferty raced to 9th place. Luke Bultman and Noah Watson raced to Honorable Mention All-Conference honors by finishing in 12th and 14th place. Charlie Gavan completed the team scoring effort by finishing in 32nd place.
